About The Position

Indiana Fitness Works is seeking a Respiratory Therapist or Nurse to provide respiratory care to residents in a long-term care setting at The Belmont Health & Rehabilitation in Columbus, Indiana. The role is full-time, with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends. Shifts are 6 a.m.–6 p.m. or 6 p.m.–6 a.m., and employees must be able to work every other weekend. Weekend bonus is available. Ventilator and tracheostomy experience is a plus but is not required; on-site training is available. Respiratory therapy students are welcome to apply. The pay range is $32–$52 per hour, depending on respiratory or nursing license, experience, and shift. Requirements

Hold certification as an RRT, CRT, or RCP, or be an RN or LPN.
Basic life support certification is required.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Must be able to work every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

Current Indiana Respiratory Therapist license preferred.
Ventilator and tracheostomy experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer and document respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and record vital signs, including oxygen saturation and heart rate.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive resident care.
Respond to emergencies and provide basic life support as needed.
