About The Position

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapy Intern for its Respiratory Therapy department. This temporary, non-benefited internship provides independent, real-world training to help the intern develop professional skills before entering the field. Direct patient care training is precluded in independent internships. The role also supports Respiratory Therapists through non-clinical responsibilities involving equipment, supplies, inventory, and other operational needs, helping clinical staff remain focused on patient care.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to safely handle respiratory equipment and supplies.
• Attention to detail and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• Previous healthcare or Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Completion of a Respiratory Therapy program or current enrollment.

Responsibilities
