About The Position

The Respiratory Therapy Apprentice works under the direction of a licensed Respiratory Therapist. The Respiratory Therapy Apprentice is responsible for maintaining an appropriate level of equipment in the various respiratory work areas and assisting the Respiratory Therapists with various procedures and tasks, as directed. The Respiratory Therapy Apprentice may be responsible for performing multiple duties that require an expertise in the assembly, transport, disinfection, calibration and troubleshooting of respiratory related equipment.

Requirements

• Must be actively enrolled in CoARC accredited RT program
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association
• Exercise Science Degree and willing to complete one and a half or two additional years of schooling
• Associate in Science
• Completed some Science Courses during High School or Post High School
