About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist will work in the Respiratory Therapy Unit, which has 760 beds and 95 staff members in the Respiratory Therapy department. The unit utilizes V800 Draeger vents, C1 Hamilton's, and Airvo for High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HHFNC). The Electronic Medical Record system used is Meditech. The unit offers 24/7 adult intensive care physician coverage, a Level 1 trauma center, a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with 15 beds, a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and support for ECMO in adults. This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technology and equipment in a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of current Respiratory Therapy experience
• NBRC Certification
• BLS, ACLS, NRP & PALS Certifications

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric/PICU experience
• Strong ICU experience

Responsibilities

• Respiratory care treatments
• Ventilator management (both invasive and noninvasive)
