About The Position
The Surgical Technician plays a crucial role in supporting physicians during invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures. This position is responsible for ensuring quality patient care and maintaining a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures.
Requirements
- Certification as a Surgical Technician or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in performing invasive and therapeutic procedures.
- Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgical procedures.
- Continuously monitor the maintenance of the sterile field during operations.
- Ensure quality patient care is upheld throughout the operative procedure.
