About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in providing exceptional surgical services. The ideal candidate will assist in various surgical procedures and support the surgical team in delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with general, orthopedic, robotics, neuro, spine, urology, and ENT surgeries is preferred.
- Holiday call availability is preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are sterile and ready for use.
- Assist the surgical team during operations by passing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
- Collaborate with medical personnel to ensure efficient and effective surgical procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of surgical techniques and best practices.
