About The Position
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will be responsible for performing respiratory care treatments and managing ventilators, both invasive and non-invasive. This role is located in Wichita, KS, within a 760-bed facility that has a total of 95 staff members in Respiratory Therapy. The unit offers 24/7 adult intensive care physician coverage, is a Level 1 trauma facility, and has a 15-bed PICU, a Level 3 NICU, and ECMO capabilities for adults. The ideal candidate will have dynamic experience in a fast-paced critical care environment and be adaptable to changing situations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months of current RRT experience
- NBRC Certification
- BLS, ACLS, NRP & PALS certifications
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric/PICU experience
- Strong ICU experience
