About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to provide care for a diverse patient population at its Rocky Mount Specialty hospital. The practitioner performs routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures and maintains equipment in working order. The role also provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested. Prior inpatient hospital experience is welcomed, as is a commitment and desire to learn.
Requirements
- Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital is located to practice respiratory care.
- Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Blood gas licensure is required if employed in Nevada.
- For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, a high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
- A minimum of one year of clinical respiratory experience is preferred.
