About The Position

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Resource Director of Nursing to support facilities when their Director of Nursing is absent or when additional resources or oversight are needed. The role manages nursing department operations in accordance with company policies, nursing practice standards, reimbursement compliance requirements, and governmental regulations, with the goal of maintaining excellent resident care. It also focuses on validating and correcting processes and systems and supporting the development and implementation of nursing job-skills training and in-service education required by state and federal regulations.

The position requires travel to assigned sites Monday through Friday, with weekly overnight stays and travel estimated at 80%–90%. All expenses are paid. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and organized, understands policies and governmental regulations, and is passionate about supporting and training stakeholders to provide high-quality resident care.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• Ability to obtain multi-state licensure.
• At least five years of related experience.
• Ability to travel 80%–90%, including weekly overnight stays.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to facilities needing additional resources or oversight, with emphasis on process and systems validation and correction.
• Assist with developing and implementing job-skills training and in-service education for the nursing department as required by state and federal regulations.
