About The Position

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Resource Director of Nursing to manage nursing department operations at facilities during the absence of a facility Director of Nursing. The role supports care quality and regulatory compliance, responds to facilities needing additional resources or oversight, and focuses on validating and correcting processes and systems. The position also supports development and delivery of job-skills training and in-service education for nursing departments as required by state and federal regulations.

The role requires travel to assigned sites Monday through Friday, with weekly overnight stays. The posting indicates that travel may account for 80%–90% of the position and that travel expenses are paid.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• Ability to obtain multi-state licensure.
• At least five years of related experience.
• Ability to travel 80%–90%, including weekly overnight stays.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall Nursing Department operations during the absence of a facility Director of Nursing, following company policies, nursing practice standards, reimbursement compliance requirements, and governmental regulations.
• Respond to facility situations requiring additional resources or oversight, with emphasis on process and systems validation and correction.
• Assist with developing and implementing job-skills training and in-service education for the nursing department as required by state and federal regulations.
• Travel to assigned sites Monday through Friday, including weekly overnight stays.
