About The Position

The Residential Supervisor provides DSP supervision, leadership, case management assistance, and quality assurance to help ensure supported individuals receive optimal care and services in the Residential Habilitation program at the Vocational Training Center (VTC) in Fargo, ND. The schedule varies according to staffing levels and the needs of the individuals supported by the program.

Requirements

• Complete Certificate with ND Direct Care Careers.
• Current driver's license.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of community resources and businesses.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist DSPs in providing appropriate active support using person-centered approaches and strategies.
• Oversee purchases of home supplies and equipment.
• Complete necessary reviews and home checklists to ensure activities, programs, and procedures are carried out.
• Accompany supported individuals to health-related appointments.
• Assist with meal planning and grocery shopping to ensure supported individuals' diets are nutritional and balanced.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure an appropriate number of staff are available to provide support.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Residential Habilitation Program Coordinator, Program Services Director, or Executive Director.
