About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Residential Service Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding customer service with clear, professional communication. You will diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems in residential settings, ensuring all work is completed to code, company standards, and customer satisfaction. This role involves troubleshooting plumbing issues efficiently, recommending effective solutions, and maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites. You will also mentor and support apprentices, follow all safety procedures, and maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles. Collaboration with team members is key to ensuring projects are completed on time and successfully. We expect our team members to represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.

Requirements

Valid Journeyman Plumber license preferred (or readiness to test).
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with insurability through Vredevoogd’s insurance carrier.
Ability to pass initial and random drug screenings, as well as a comprehensive national background check.
Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes, and best practices.
Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift over 75 lbs, climb in and out of vehicles, and work in varying weather conditions.
Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Must live within 45 minutes of Grandville.
