About The Position

Frank Gay Services is hiring an experienced residential plumber to provide plumbing service to homeowners. The technician operates a service vehicle and handles residential calls independently, diagnosing problems, evaluating plumbing systems, explaining findings, developing and presenting repair or replacement options, and completing approved repairs. The role combines skilled plumbing work with clear, ethical customer communication and service. Technicians are expected to protect customers’ homes, keep work areas and vehicles clean, communicate throughout each job, and take ownership of their performance. Compensation uses a hybrid performance pay plan: technicians receive either their base pay or revenue pay each week, whichever is higher.

Requirements

Residential plumbing service experience.
Strong plumbing troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Ability to explain technical information clearly and simply.
Comfort discussing prices and presenting repair options.
Ability to listen to customers before recommending solutions.
Understanding of ethical sales and customer service.
