About The Position

The role involves residential plumbing projects and light commercial work, including installations, troubleshooting, system testing, and emergency repairs. The plumber will help ensure customers receive reliable service, explain estimates and recommendations, and comply with local plumbing codes and safety standards. The position is based in Fairfax, Virginia, requires fluent English, and pays $25–$35 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on plumbing experience in residential or light commercial settings.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Physical endurance for job demands, including working in confined spaces and at heights.
• Solid communication skills for explaining work to customers.
• Fluent English.

• Experience with advanced plumbing systems, such as hydronic heating or industrial piping.

Responsibilities

• Handle residential plumbing projects involving water supply lines, drainage systems, toilets, sinks, boilers, and tank and tankless water heaters.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide lasting solutions.
• Test plumbing systems to verify leaks and other issues have been resolved.
• Follow local plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Communicate with customers and provide clear estimates and recommendations for additional work.
• Respond professionally and promptly to emergency situations.
