McWilliams is expanding its high-performing Residential Plumbing Service Team in Livingston, TX, and is looking for a driven, customer-focused, licensed Service Plumber who wants steady call volume and the freedom to earn more based on performance. Requirements

  • Texas Tradesman Plumber-Limited License or above (Journeyman or Master) required
  • 2+ years of residential service plumbing experience required
  • Able to use a tablet, smartphone, and read a map or follow GPS
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Neat, clean, professional appearance and excellent interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and service calls as directed by dispatch
  • Arrive on time to your first call each day and keep every customer updated with accurate ETAs
  • Use the expectation card on arrival to walk the customer through what to expect during the call
  • Complete a thorough inspection of the plumbing system on every call, following the evaluation checklist and notifying the customer of any issues found
  • Present clear, tiered (ABC) repair and replacement options based on the customer's wants and needs
  • Share information and pricing on service agreements, accessories, and other comfort improvements
  • Debrief with dispatch after each call and communicate any parts used for replenishment
  • Follow the PO process for non-truck-stock parts to ensure accurate pricing and a high rate of warm-call completions
  • Keep your vehicle stocked, accurately inventoried, clean, and safe — and pass quarterly vehicle inspections
  • Return defective warranty parts and unused inventory to the branch
  • Accurately complete all required documentation, including checklists and hours/materials used
  • Maintain a professional image in company-approved uniform at all times
  • Participate in company training and follow all safety policies, reporting any safety concerns to a manager or team leader
