About The Position

Empire Fiber Internet is hiring a Residential Sales Team Lead to support residential sales representatives and help homeowners upgrade to its fiber Internet service. The role combines personal door-to-door sales in residential neighborhoods with day-to-day guidance, mentoring, and communication support for representatives across the company’s service areas. The Team Lead helps expand the fiber network by building relationships in local communities and introducing customers to the benefits of fiber Internet.

Requirements

Previous sales experience.
A proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to support and mentor fellow representatives and recognize when an issue needs management attention.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
Comfort engaging with potential customers in person and working independently in a territory.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with CRM systems and residential sales tools.
Direct sales background, such as solar, home improvement, roofing, alarms, pest control, or telecommunications.

Responsibilities

Achieve personal sales quota targets.
Serve as the first point of contact for door-to-door sales representatives.
Provide general guidance on products, approved offers, sales processes, and available resources.
Support and mentor new and existing sales representatives.
Share practical selling tips and occasionally shadow representatives in the field.
Communicate leadership updates and process changes to the team.
Share recurring questions and field feedback with sales leadership.
Escalate customer, policy, or personnel issues when management involvement is needed.
Engage homeowners in residential neighborhoods and build relationships within the communities served.
