Residential Remodeling Trainee - Full Time, W2
About The Position
The Residential Remodeling Trainee assists with safe, effective residential bathroom installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols. The role includes loading materials and trucks at the warehouse, traveling to customers’ homes, removing existing bath or shower fixtures, installing new tubs or shower pans and wall surrounds, and updating plumbing when needed. The trainee is expected to provide customers with a five-star experience, clean the work area thoroughly, collect paperwork and payment, and return to the warehouse. The position is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a Monday–Friday schedule beginning at 6:30 AM. The approximate pay range is $18–$21 per hour.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
- Demolish existing bath or shower fixtures and install a new tub or shower pan and wall surround.
- Update plumbing when needed.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while performing safe, effective installations.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Provide customers with a five-star experience.
