About The Position

West Shore Home is a technology-driven home improvement company specializing in bathroom, flooring, window, and door remodels. The Residential Remodeling Trainee assists with safe and effective installations, following company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while providing customers with a five-star experience. The role is based in Dallas, Texas, and follows a Monday-through-Friday schedule with a 6:30 AM start. Training is paid, and the position offers opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a strong desire to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Remove existing bath or shower fixtures and install a new tub or pan and wall surround; update plumbing if needed.
• Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
• Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols during installations.
