Residential Remodeler Trainee - Paid Training!
About The Position
The Residential Remodeler Trainee assists with safe and effective residential installations, following company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols while providing customers with a 5-star experience. The role includes loading materials and trucks at the warehouse, traveling to customers’ homes, removing existing bath or shower fixtures, installing new tubs or pans and wall surrounds, and updating plumbing if needed. The installer also cleans the work area, collects paperwork and payment, and returns to the warehouse. The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, with a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 6:30 AM. The approximate pay is $17–$20 per hour; final compensation may vary based on background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. Paid training and opportunities for professional growth are offered.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
- Demonstrate existing bath or shower fixtures and install a new tub or pan and wall surround; update plumbing if needed.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and PPE protocols while performing installations safely and effectively.
