Residential Property Inspector - Selma, AL
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners or independent contractors in Selma, Alabama, to complete residential property inspections. This 1099 independent contractor role is not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies at the same time, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. The role offers flexible scheduling, route planning, and payment per completed inspection. Work includes traveling to properties for exterior and occasional interior underwriting inspections, explaining inspections to homeowners, and collecting required photos and data through a mobile web application. Contractors may use a camera pole for roof photos on applicable jobs and schedule appointments for interior or high-value inspections. Service fees are paid monthly per completed inspection. Estimated work volume is 0.5 working day per week, or 2 days per month. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays, depending on customer expectations; contractors choose which days and how many jobs to accept.
