About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. The role requires knowledge of products across store departments, adherence to the visual manual and company policies and procedures, and promotion of sales and offers. As an ambassador for the organization and brand, the Sales Associate creates a distinctive customer experience to help acquire and retain customers, while promoting merchandise and delivering outstanding service. The position also supports daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup, shipments, and store maintenance. It has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and precisely.
Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, including assisting customers as they enter and helping multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization's services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track overall sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals, as well as company memos.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell goods, using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend store staff meetings and tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal controls and reporting potential fraud risks to management or appropriate officials.
