About The Position

CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners or independent contractors in Mobile, Alabama, to complete residential property underwriting inspections. The role involves working outdoors and independently, with control over scheduling and accepted jobs. Contractors may work for other companies and use their own associates if they have them. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not an employee position; contractors are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. Inspectors travel to properties for exterior and occasional interior inspections, explain the inspection to homeowners, and record required photos and data using a mobile web application. Some jobs require a camera pole for roof photos. Inspectors schedule their own appointments for interior or high-value inspections and are expected to provide accurate, timely, professional service with clear communication. Payment is per completed inspection, paid monthly. The posting estimates approximately two working days per week or eight days per month. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays, depending on customer expectations; inspectors choose which days and how many jobs to accept.
