About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated, customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will help potential residents through the leasing process, provide excellent customer service, and build strong relationships with current residents. We value strong communication, attention to detail, and a real passion for helping people find the right home. This position pays $18 to $20 per hour, depending on your experience, and includes the chance to earn a quarterly bonus.

Requirements

• Must be able to work Saturdays.
• Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Welcome prospective residents and assist them, including with tours of available units and community amenities.
• Clearly and accurately explain leasing terms, policies, and procedures.
• Process rental applications, conduct background and credit checks, and prepare lease agreements.
• Keep your knowledge of community availability, pricing, and promotions up to date.
• Respond to resident inquiries as quickly as possible and address any leasing-related issues.
• Work with the property management team to ensure smooth move-ins and move-outs.
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and resident information.
• Participate in marketing and outreach activities to attract new residents.
