Residential Door Installer - Experienced or Trainee
About The Position
American Overhead Door, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is hiring experienced or trainee Residential Door Installers to provide installation and service for homeowners and homebuilders in residential areas. Installers work independently to install and repair residential garage doors, door hardware, and operating systems, provide professional service, identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services, complete job-related paperwork accurately and promptly, and maintain safe, clean job sites. The company provides a truck, company-paid fuel, tool and boot allowances, and paid training.
Requirements
- Strong background and proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
- Must possess a personal set of tools.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds independently, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.
- Successful completion of employment verifications, a background check, a drug screen, and driving-record screening if applicable, before hire.
Nice To Haves
- 1–3 years of construction or related trade experience is preferred.
- Experience in construction labor, electrical work, fabrication, carpentry, product installation or service, or as a mechanic.
