About The Position

Quality Overhead Door is hiring a full-time Residential Garage Door Installer at its Findlay, Ohio location. The installer is responsible for installing the company’s residential products, including garage doors and entry doors. Prior experience is highly recommended, and candidates from parallel industries are also welcome. The role involves working at the warehouse and job sites, in all weather conditions and in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• General knowledge of construction, hand tools, and electrical work.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have an accepted motor vehicle record (MVR) to be added to the company’s auto insurance policy.
• Must have dependable transportation to and from the base office location.
• Willingness to learn.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
• Adaptability to a changing work environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install products according to manufacturer specifications and ensure customer satisfaction with completed work.
• Maintain inventory on the company truck and understand the proper use of parts, tools, and other materials.
• Document services performed, amounts owed or paid, and outstanding items required to complete jobs.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment at the warehouse and job sites.
