About The Position

Spilker Pacific LLC is hiring a full-time, hourly Garage Door Installer in Post Falls, Idaho. The role involves preparing materials and equipment, traveling to commercial and residential job sites, installing garage doors and openers, checking work quality, documenting materials and time, and maintaining a safe and clean worksite. Pay is $20–$24 per hour.

Spilker Pacific LLC sells, services, installs, and assists with the design of commercial overhead door products. It is a joint venture of Smith Overhead Door Company, Inc. and Pacific Coast Building Products, Inc., a family-owned business since 1953. It uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization and maintains a drug-free workplace.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift more than 75 pounds.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Must pass a drug test, background check, and driving-record check.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience installing garage doors on commercial or residential projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the truck has sufficient and appropriate materials and equipment for assigned jobs.
• Drive to and from commercial and residential job sites and unload garage door materials.
• Clean the job site daily after work is completed.
• Install doors and openers according to company and manufacturer standards.
• Check work for errors and correct them when necessary.
• Track materials and time used on each job and submit paperwork daily.
• Follow company and governmental safety rules, and ensure hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
