About The Position

American Overhead Door, a DH Pace Company, is hiring an experienced or trainee Residential Door Service Technician to install and service residential garage doors and related products for homeowners and homebuilders. The role involves independent field work across residential areas and providing professional customer service. Company truck, fuel, tool and boot allowances, and paid training are provided.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
• Must possess a personal set of tools.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds independently, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of construction or related trade experience is preferred.
• Experience in construction labor, electrical work, fabrication, carpentry, product installation or service, or as a mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Independently install and repair residential garage doors, door hardware, and operating systems.
• Install quality products and provide professional service to homeowners and homebuilders.
• Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services to customers.
• Track, maintain, and submit accurate job-related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe working environment and keep job sites clean and clear of debris.
