About The Position

Overhead Door Company of Atlanta, a DH Pace Company, seeks a Residential Service Technician to install and/or repair a variety of residential garage doors and operating systems. The technician works independently to provide quality repairs and professional service to homeowners and homebuilders. The position includes hands-on training, and after training the technician can start and finish each workday from home and may drive a company vehicle to and from work. Coming to the office every day is not required. Candidates with construction labor, carpentry, installation, product service, or mechanic experience may be well suited to the role.

Requirements

At least 1–3 years of construction experience.
Ability to lift 75 pounds overhead.
Valid driver’s license.
Customer-service orientation.
Successful completion of required employment verifications, background check, drug screen, and driving-record check, if applicable, before hire.

Nice To Haves

Mechanical, carpentry, or service-industry experience.

Responsibilities

Repair quality products and provide professional service to homeowners and homebuilders.
Track and maintain job-related paperwork and submit it promptly.
