About The Position

American Overhead Door, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is hiring experienced Commercial Door Installers and trainees. The role installs a range of commercial doors, door hardware, and dock equipment, identifies opportunities to recommend products and services to customers, maintains accurate job-related paperwork, and works safely and professionally at job sites. Relevant backgrounds may include general labor, carpentry, field service, mechanics, glazing, or other skilled trades. Company trucks and fuel, tool and boot allowances, and paid training are provided.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs.
• Comfort working at heights and using a ladder.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience as a general laborer, carpenter, field technician, mechanic, glazier, or in another skilled trade.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial doors and door hardware, including roll-up doors, dock doors and equipment, high-speed rolling doors, and commercial entry doors.
• Identify opportunities to recommend products and services to customers.
• Maintain accurate job-related paperwork.
• Operate safely and professionally at every job site.
