About The Position

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking Entry Door Installer Trainees in Tempe, Arizona. The role is responsible for safely and accurately installing doors and hardware, delivering industry-leading customer service, and producing quality workmanship in a team-based environment. Work includes installing hardware on a range of commercial entry doors in shop and field/job-site settings, as well as repairing, adjusting, replacing, and troubleshooting entry doors and related hardware. Experience with automatic doors, access control, glazing, closers, hollow metal, or other skilled trades may be relevant, though similar-role experience is not required.

Requirements

• Able to safely lift 100 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Successful completion of required employment verifications, background check, drug screen, and driving-record check if applicable, in advance of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience with automatic doors, access control, glazing, closers, hollow metal, or another skilled trade may be a good fit.

Responsibilities

• Install hardware on a wide range of commercial entry doors in shop and field/job-site settings.
• Repair, adjust, replace, and troubleshoot entry doors and associated hardware.
• Communicate progress and challenges to the Install Supervisor.
• Operate in a safety-conscious manner at all times.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
