About The Position

Project for Pride in Living (PPL) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering low-income individuals and families to become self-reliant through integrated services in housing, employment, and education. Job Summary: Are you passionate about helping individuals and families build stable, successful futures? As a Resident Services Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting residents living in PPL's affordable and scattered-site housing programs, empowering them to thrive and achieve long-term stability. In this rewarding and relationship-driven role, you'll manage a caseload of approximately 20–25 participants, providing compassionate, person-centered support tailored to each resident's unique goals and circumstances. By building trust, connecting individuals to critical resources, and fostering strong community partnerships, you'll help residents overcome barriers, strengthen their independence, and enhance their overall well-being.

Requirements

Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, and Word
Ability to use Electronic timecard system
Ability to use SharePoint file system
Ability to use Database systems, particularly Apricot
Experience with case management or developing supportive housing service plans
Ability to provide crisis intervention and support
Ability to recognize and address mental health challenges, chemical dependency and other problematic behaviors
Valid driver's license and insurance, successfully complete a motor vehicle records screen, reliable vehicle, and ability to transport participants

Nice To Haves

Experience with Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered, or DBT skills a bonus
1-3 years of experience with the target population served preferred
A course of study in a health or human services-related field leading to a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Associate degree

Responsibilities

Engage with participants to assess their strengths/barriers and create customized participant-driven housing stability plans
Support participant health and wellness through connections to physical, mental health, and recovery resources
Assist with the housing recertification process
Collaborate with Housing Coordinator in transferring tenancy sustaining services both in home and in the community
Utilize skills and community resources to provide crisis prevention and intervention
Support strategies to promote neighborhood, apartment building, and personal safety
Provide and/or facilitate translation and interpreting services
