About The Position
Cedar River Healthcare Center is seeking a Resident Care Manager (LPN) to join its nursing leadership team. The role oversees resident care on an assigned unit, supports and guides nursing staff, and works with the DNS and interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive quality, compassionate care.
Requirements
- Current LPN license (required).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day resident care.
- Supervise and support nurses and CNAs.
- Complete and review assessments, care plans, and documentation within the role’s scope.
- Communicate with residents, families, and physicians.
- Help ensure the unit complies with state and federal regulations.
