About The Position

Vista Prairie at Fieldcrest is an assisted living and memory care community in Sheldon. As a Resident Assistant, you're the person residents see and rely on overnight, helping them rest, stay safe, and feel cared for until morning.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable transportation to and from the community

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in assisted living, memory care, or another health care setting

Responsibilities

• Help residents with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning
• Check in on residents throughout the night and respond to call lights
• Complete overnight rounds and document care per each resident's service plan
• Create a calm, reassuring presence for residents who wake confused or anxious
• Once trained and certified, administer medications following physician orders and Iowa regulations
