About The Position

The Resident Assistant provides care and support to residents in a memory care setting. The role is part-time, overnight, Friday and Saturday. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, helping residents get around the community, responding to calls and requests, addressing environmental hazards, and following care plans while obtaining vital signs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and help them maintain their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans and obtain vital signs.
