About The Position

The Resident Assistant provides care and support to residents in a memory care setting. The role assists residents with activities of daily living, transports them around the community, responds to calls and requests, and follows resident care plans while obtaining vital signs. The schedule is part-time on the NOC shift from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., including every other weekend.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans and obtain vital signs.
