About The Position

The Resident Assistant provides support to residents in a memory care setting, including help with activities of daily living and transportation within the community. The role also involves responding promptly and safely to emergencies, requests, and environmental hazards; following resident care plans; and obtaining vital signs. This is a part-time overnight position scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
