About The Position

The Resident Assistant provides memory care residents with support in activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and helps residents maintain their personal environments. The role also includes transporting residents within the community, responding promptly and appropriately to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards, and following resident care plans while obtaining vital signs.

This is a part-time NOC position, scheduled from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and every other weekend.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents assistance with activities of daily living, such as grooming and bathing, and help maintain their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
