About The Position

The Resident Assistant, Memory Care provides care and support to residents in a memory care community during an overnight shift. The role assists with activities of daily living, transports residents within the community, responds to emergency calls and requests, and follows resident care plans, including obtaining vital signs. The schedule is full-time, overnight, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification.
• Experience working with an elderly population.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
