About The Position

The Resident Assistant provides care and support to residents in a memory care community. The role assists residents with activities of daily living, transports them within the community, responds to requests and emergencies, follows resident care plans, and obtains vital signs. This is a part-time, hourly position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and help maintain their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
