About The Position

The Resident Assistant, Memory Care provides care and support to residents in a retirement community. The role assists residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment; transports residents within the community; responds promptly and safely to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards; and follows resident care plans and obtains vital signs. The position is full-time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans and obtain vital signs.
