About The Position

The Resident Assistant, Memory Care provides support to residents with activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and helps them maintain their personal environments. The role also involves transporting residents within the community and responding promptly and safely to emergencies, requests, and environmental hazards. The Resident Assistant reviews and follows resident care plans and obtains vital signs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
