About The Position

The Resident Assistant, Memory Care position supports residents with activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and helps maintain their personal environments. The role also transports residents within the community, responds promptly and safely to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards, and follows resident care plans while obtaining vital signs. The schedule is full-time, 2–10 p.m., with every other weekend.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and help maintain their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans and obtain vital signs.
