About The Position

Home Again is hiring a Resident Assistant to help create a warm, welcoming, and caring environment for residents. The role provides compassionate support with personal care, daily activities, meals, mobility, and resident engagement. The position is offered for full-time and part-time hours on the NOC shift, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Home Again describes its team as supporting an at-home experience through a welcoming social environment and compassionate care.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Have a caring heart and a genuine desire to work with older adults and people with physical challenges.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Have strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide kind, respectful, and compassionate care to residents.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities.
• Help residents with meals and dining.
• Support resident mobility, including wheelchair or walking assistance.
• Offer friendly reminders for meals and activities.
• Respond to resident call lights with care and urgency.
• Engage residents in Life Enrichment activities.
• Support the team with other tasks that help the community run smoothly.
