About The Position
Home Again is hiring a Resident Assistant to help create a warm, welcoming, and caring environment for residents. The role involves providing compassionate support to older adults and people with physical challenges, assisting with personal care and daily activities, and helping residents participate in meaningful community activities. The position is offered on a full-time NOC shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.; the posting also notes that part-time hours are available.
Requirements
- A caring heart and genuine desire to work with older adults and people with physical challenges.
- A positive attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
- Must be 16 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Provide kind, respectful, and compassionate care to residents.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities.
- Help residents with meals, dining, and mobility, including wheelchair or walking assistance.
- Offer friendly reminders about meals and activities.
- Respond to resident call lights with care and urgency.
- Engage residents in Life Enrichment activities.
- Support the team with other tasks that help the community run smoothly.
