About The Position

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant to provide care and support to residents in an assisted living community during overnight hours. The schedule is 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. every other weekend. The role includes helping residents with daily living activities, transporting them within the community, responding to calls and safety concerns, and following resident care plans.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain residents’ vital signs.
