About The Position

Cardinal McCloskey Community Services (CMCS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residence Manager to lead the daily operations of a 24/7 residential program in Briarcliff Manor, New York, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Residence Manager provides leadership, ensures quality care, and fosters a safe, supportive, person-centered environment while ensuring compliance with CMCS and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of related experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer applications.
Ability to safely lift and assist up to 70 lbs to support individuals' mobility, personal care, transfers, and emergency needs with care and dignity.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in a human services field preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily residence operations and ensure compliance with CMCS and regulatory standards.
Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Assistant Managers, and Shift Supervisors.
Lead person-centered planning meetings and ensure implementation of Life Plans and Staff Action Plans.
Accompany residents to medical appointments and ensure follow-up on care recommendations.
Ensure residents receive support with daily living skills, community integration, and recreational activities.
Maintain 24/7 staffing coverage, including on-call responsibilities and emergency response.
Conduct regular staff meetings, shift observations, and performance evaluations.
Monitor health and safety protocols, including medication administration and emergency drills.
Manage household budgets, resident funds, and staff payroll documentation.
Communicate regularly with families, care coordinators, and day programs.
