About The Position

U-Haul is seeking a customer-focused, results-oriented team member for a fast-paced, dynamic role supporting customers, field team members, and U-Haul dealerships. Under the direction of the Traffic Control Manager, the position focuses on reservation placement and equipment distribution to support customer needs and regional inventory levels. The role also supports U-Haul’s U-Box portable storage product. The position is located at 5200 State Ave, Kansas City, Kansas 66102. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Working knowledge of office equipment, including multiline phones, phone etiquette, Word, and email.
Proficiency in customer service, time management, and multitasking.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.
In states where applicable, U-Haul will not hire or re-hire individuals who use nicotine products; Kansas is listed among those states.

Responsibilities

Assist with calls from and to customers.
Support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with equipment and reservation management and placement.
Direct incoming customer equipment to areas according to customer demand and productivity status to help balance regional market inventory and meet future demand.
Review reports that support effective equipment placement, customer reservations, and contracts, and help create equipment availability and accuracy.
Assist with the Company’s U-Box portable storage product.
