Repair Services Associate I
About The Position
The Repair Services Associate I services customer products through activities such as receiving and shipping, reviewing customer complaints, basic troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, inspection, basic hand soldering, cleaning, testing, and final inspection. The associate records work performed using symptom codes and parts-replacement reasons. Under direct supervision, the role handles routine assignments, follows basic work instructions and applicable policies, and performs rudimentary analysis of basic problems with limited complexity. The associate also contributes input toward continuous improvement, work-instruction documentation, and process standardization. The role must be performed in accordance with applicable client policies and the safety guidelines, procedures, and requirements of the assigned warehouse location.
Responsibilities
- Receive and ship customer products.
- Review customer complaints and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Perform mechanical repairs, inspections, basic hand soldering, cleaning, testing, and final inspections.
- Record work performed using symptom codes and parts-replacement reasons.
- Learn and follow basic work instructions for assigned functions according to productivity and quality standards.
- Provide input for continuous improvement, work-instruction documentation, and process standardization.
- Resolve basic problems of limited complexity under direct supervision and perform rudimentary analysis involving a limited number of factors.
- Learn and apply policies and procedures to routine activities.
- Comply with applicable client policies and the safety guidelines, procedures, and requirements of the assigned warehouse location.
