About The Position

The Repair and Maintenance role at La Concha Resort maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs hotel equipment, systems, and facilities across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The role responds to maintenance requests from guests and associates and supports engineering services to resolve issues affecting the guest experience and associate working conditions. It also helps maintain safety, quality, and regulatory standards, keeps accurate records, and contributes to positive teamwork and a professional workplace.

Requirements

• Hospitality-oriented.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, plumbing, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, or general building.
• Able to lift objects weighing up to 60 pounds; bend, squat, and stretch; and stand for 2–3 hours at a time.
• Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hotel equipment, systems, and facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and associates.
• Support and improve engineering services to address issues affecting guest experience and associate work conditions.
• Analyze problems and develop action plans to resolve them quickly, including procuring materials and parts and coordinating schedules.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment and inventory needs for tools, materials, and spare parts.
• Adhere to company standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records of work performed.
• Follow company policies and safety and security procedures; promptly report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
• Participate in safety training and promote safety awareness.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in achieving shared goals.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.
