About The Position

The Laundry Attendant works at La Concha Resort, part of The Condado Collection, a group of hospitality properties in Puerto Rico. The role supports the resort’s hospitality operations by processing laundry, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and following company safety and service standards. The attendant sorts and weighs soiled linen, treats stains, operates washers and dryers, irons and folds linens, and separates damaged or stained items. The position also involves routine cleaning of laundry equipment and drains, professional conduct, effective teamwork, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Hospitality oriented.
Able to bend, squat, stretch, and lift 50–60 pounds.
Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Able to handle difficult situations effectively.
Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
Able and willing to perform basic cleaning duties.
Good communication skills in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

Clean and organize according to standards, using the correct chemicals.
Sort soiled linen, weigh it, and load it into appropriate carts or machines.
Pre-treat laundry for stains.
Load and unload washers and dryers, operate the machines, and record the weight of items washed and dried.
Iron and fold towels, table linens, sheets, pillowcases, blankets, bed pads, and other items.
Sort and separate damaged or stained linen.
Clean dryer lint traps daily and check and clean drains as necessary.
Perform other related duties as required or directed.
Follow company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support the team in reaching common goals.
Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, and protect confidential proprietary information.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
